There are different colors of ignimbrites that appear on wide foreheads around Nevşehir. The extracted stones have been used extensively as building blocks, especially in historical buildings and low-rise buildings. Nowadays, due to its decorative features, it is increasingly used in building exterior surface covering, stairs, flooring, railing, pool and edges, arch, column, fireplace balcony decorations and restoration applications.
